"When is my birthday?" sounds like a strange question to search — most people know the date. What they're really asking is some combination of: how many days are left until it arrives, what age they'll be turning, what day of the week they were born on, and what their zodiac sign is. This birthday calculator answers all of it at once from a single date of birth.

How the countdown works
The calculator takes your date of birth and works out this year's occurrence of that month and day. If that date has already passed, it automatically rolls forward to next year — so the days-left number is always counting down to your actual next birthday, never a birthday that's already happened. The "turning" number reflects exactly which age that upcoming birthday represents.
Your zodiac sign, calculated automatically
Alongside the countdown, the calculator works out your Western zodiac sign directly from your birth month and day, and your Chinese zodiac animal from your birth year. Both appear instantly — no separate zodiac calculator needed.
